Momence Booking Software FAQ's & Support
Why is a booking system (called momence) being used?
Firstly, to ensure we don't exceed the capacity of Saturday classes in Studio 1 which is 12 students. Having a cap on numbers ensures we all have enough space to move freely. Also, having a booking system automates more of the time-consuming business admin tasks and frees up Alison's time for more creative pursuits... like learning new Nia routines!
can i just turn up for class without booking in advance?
You can, however priority will be given to those who have booked, so you do run the risk of being turned away:( This specifically applies to fortnightly Saturday Nia which is limited to 12 students.
You also run the risk of turning up to an empty studio if class is cancelled. Students who are booked will receive an email notification if class is cancelled. If you choose not to book into classes you will not receive an email informing you of this. Maybe consider joining the Lower Hutt: Joy of Movement WhatsApp group as class cancellation and other important notices will be placed on this chat. Admins (Alison + Penne) are the only ones who can post, so it's for notifications only, not general chat. A cancellation notice will also be placed on the home page of Alison's website IF time allows.
Also, if you manage your class bookings via Momence, you qualify for 10% discount when you purchase your Class Pass. Enter the promo code: MOMENCE (in caps) at checkout.

If you have previously purchased a pass for Nia with Alison you may already have a Momence account, as you would've been prompted to enter a login email address and to create a password.

HOW DO I BOOK CLASSES?
You can book into Nia classes the following ways:
1) From the Momence app on your mobile device. Here's a short video to help you

4) If you do not have a smart phone or easy access to a computer, please let Alison know via text (021 881 849) and she will manually book you into class or cancel your booking as the case may be. Please read the T's and C's for your pass so you understand the requirements around bookings, cancellations, refunds, class credits etc.

ARE THERE ALTERNATE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
If you do not wish to pay for class via the Momence booking page on the website, you're welcome to pay via online banking into the following ASB account; 12-3449-0112479-00 and reference your name and chosen pass or class. In this case Alison will manually load the pass and the associated number of class credits in Momence (within 24 hrs of payment), enabling you log into your Momence account and manage your bookings.
You are also welcome to pay cash at class. Correct amount is appreciated:)
