I know a few of you have shown a curiosity about Nia so I hope you'll come along for this 6 class intro series designed for beginners. Even if you cannot make all of them, know that one is free anyhow so if you miss one, it's no cost to you. WHEN does this series run?
10 - 11am, Saturday 6 November through until (and including) Saturday 11 December 2021.

who is this nia series for?
This series is designed for people who have never done a Nia class before. It's for brand new 'Nia newbies' who have not a clue about what Nia is, how it came about, who created it or why it's so good for us. In saying that, if you have done Nia before or even if you've been doing it for years, you're very welcome too!! It's always beneficial to go over some Nia basics and to receive with fresh eyes.
if i cannot make a class in the series, can i send a friend in my place?
Yes you can! If you can let me know in advance this would be appreciated.
is there a limit on participant numbers?
Yes - 13 people maximum. At Alert Level 2 restrictions the guidelines for group fitness are to maintain a 2m distance from others. The studio space is 12m x 7.4m, therefore numbers will be capped at 13 people (14 counting Alison).
what sort of nia classes are in the series?
The series will be made up of 6 classic Nia classes. A new routine will be introduced at the beginning and we'll learn, move and energise this routine as a group for 4 consecutive Saturdays. We'll move to two different classic Nia routines for the last two classes to add in further variety once the group is comfortable with the basics of the Nia practise.
